My path to tutoring
Hello, my name is Michael Zhardinovski, and I am the founder of SmartSteps Michael Zhardinovski.
I have been giving tutoring for six years now – an experience that inspired me to found my own tutoring institute.
During my work as a tutor, I have learned about many different forms of teaching: group lessons, teaching in large classrooms, and much more.
But one thing became clearer to me with every hour of tutoring:

My philosophy
Individual Learning
With us, tutoring always takes place 1:1 - one teacher, one student. This way, your child gets full attention and can ask exactly what is important to them. We proceed at their pace, adapt to their learning type, and create a trusting atmosphere where your child feels comfortable and can learn effectively.
Open Communication
Personal exchange with parents and students is particularly important to me. Through regular consultation and feedback, I adapt the lessons specifically and support both academic and personal development. Together we find the best path to learning success - transparent and on equal terms.
Mistakes are Welcome
Many students hold back out of fear of making mistakes. At SmartSteps, it's different: we discover and work on mistakes specifically in tutoring so they don't occur in exams. This way we close understanding gaps and build confidence - because mistakes are the key to progress with us.
